This Privacy Policy explains how Bukmin ("we", "us", "our"), the provider of the Bukmin mobile application (the "App"), collects, uses, and protects your information. By using Bukmin you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect the information needed to let you create an account, book appointments, and use the App.

2. How Your Information Is Stored
Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted secure storage on your device (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Your profile data and app preferences are stored in your device's local storage. Account data you submit is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) to our backend servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you via one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone number.
- To create, display, and manage your bookings and profile.
- To show salons and services relevant to your location.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the App.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service:
- Salons / service providers you book with receive the details necessary to fulfil your appointment (such as your name and booking details).
- Service providers that host our infrastructure and deliver OTP/SMS messages, acting on our instructions.
- Legal requirements, where disclosure is required by applicable law.
5. Third-Party Services
The App may open external apps you already have installed — your phone dialer (to call a salon), a maps app (for directions), and the system share sheet. When you use these, you are subject to those apps' own privacy policies. The App does not include advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking SDKs.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can edit your profile in-app, or contact us to request account deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at team@bukmin.com.
8. Children's Privacy
Bukmin is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
